"Transforming Lives by Transforming Minds"
Dallas Hypnosis Services
North Texas Hypnotherapy, a division of Texas Therapy Services™, is the premier hypnosis center in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex -- providing hypnotherapy services for clients in Dallas, Plano, Allen, Carrollton, McKinney, and surrounding areas in North Texas.
Clinical hypnotherapy is available (and has been very effective) for a variety of issues. These could be psychological, emotional, physical, or a combination of these client concerns. The hypnosis sessions are conducted by Pramala Mourier, Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Hypnotherapist.
How to Stop Smoking
This is the most popular service asked for. With many restaurants, hotels and airplanes becoming “smoke free zones”, there is an increase in the number of individuals who want to stop smoking.
Furthermore, there have been several family members who have been lost to smoking, so this is a personal issue for Pramala . . . to help others overcome this ghastly habit.
The program for how to quit smoking deals with both the physical and psychological aspects. Some of the challenges for smokers are, what will they do instead of smoking? How will they be able to socialize without a cigarette in their hand? How can they start their day or finish a meal without a cigarette?
"Let me assure you that you will be provided with a strong hypnosis session that will thwart any urge for you to smoke …ever again"! You will enjoy your new found smokeless freedom, as will your friends and family.
Hypnosis for Weight Loss
This is a HEAVY subject and requires active participation from the client. Dealing with weight is an emotional subject for the client. The weight they have gained is a “comfort” to them validating their ability to overcome their life issues, through the comfort of eating more.
In hypnosis, the comfort of eating more, is released and instead a new healthy plan is adopted. Discussion on diet and exercise is accompanied with the hypnosis and the client commits to their own plan of eating and exercising.
Hypnotherapy weight loss is becoming more and more popular among the general public. Tools are provided for the client to overcome situations that could trigger them to reach out for the “undesirables” including self-hypnosis for weight loss.
"I have also had experience in providing “virtual lap band” hypnosis (VLBH) and would urge anyone who has decided to opt for the real surgical procedure, to try the VLBH first". This is also referred to as gastric band hypnosis.
The procedure follows the same protocol as the real surgery, without the actual “knife”. However, the client is led to believe that they underwent the real surgery in hypnosis. This is a ten session package which has two pre-op sessions, one surgery session and seven follow up sessions. The investment in VLBH is considerably less than the actual surgery. Hypnotherapy for anxiety can be very effective. Anxiety is an emotion born out of fear. Certain things may have triggered us when we were young to become anxious. We all get anxious at various times of our lives. However, if the anxiety becomes debilitating and we are unable to move forwards in our life then hypnosis can help.
The anxiety hypnosis session will explore and release your fears. You will be provided with tools to enable you to move forwards with your life.
This is similar to anxiety but is more specific. People develop irrational fears about certain things, such as spiders, flying, going outdoors, performing etc.
Hypnosis has been successful in treating phobias, by exploring how they were developed and gentle exposure during hypnosis. The client often is able to walk away from the session without the fear and if they are triggered, then the tools that they acquired during the session will be used.
This happens to be one of Pramala's specialties. Pain can be debilitating, particularly if you have to suffer it on a daily basis.
"I have developed an unique technique that allows my clients to completely manage their pain. Whether they suffer sporadic or chronic pain on a daily basis, the unique technique will allow them freedom to live as normally as possible".
How Hypnosis Helps Us Today
Our minds begin life as a blank canvas on which all of life’s interactions are imprinted, from the time we are born to the time we die. Imagine then, if as a child, you were subjected to a harsh disciplinarian parent who continually berated you everyday. How would you then learn about life and how would you learn to behave with others in relationships and families?
Psychology suggests the answer to understanding the impact of such a scenario would be therapeutic support. However, the seeds of damage remain embedded in the mind which continue to work on the individual throughout their lives.
Have you ever noticed that people often continue to behave in certain ways throughout their lives? Think of your parents or those closer to you. Have you heard people say “they’ll never change” or “I’ve always done it this way” despite a poor outcome to their continuing behavior. This is why Hypnosis can be most valuable in resolving issues.
Hypnosis allows the individual to change. It allows the individual to rewrite their story. It facilitates the individual to pinpoint the event that may have negatively changed their lives and then facilitates the transformation for them to live life more positively.
What an incredible tool with such a minimally invasive involvement!
Hypnosis is not magic or associated with any occult practice. It is the unique power that every person has in their own ability to transform. It also heavily relies on the power of intent.
Hypnosis is now widely clinically used to treat many conditions, both health and life. In addition to the ones already mentioned above, here are some other issues that can successfully managed through hypnosis:
Don’t suffer unnecessarily with the same issues that keep holding you back from moving forwards with your life. Call me now and lets discuss a plan of action: 469-232-7578
Hypnotherapy services are not a replacement for psychological evaluation or treatment. Any continuing mental illness after hypnosis by a clinical hypnotherapist should be treated by a psychologist licensed by the State Of Texas.
